Deutsche Bahn presents Supplier Innovation Award 2024: Apply now!

Supply-side partners have time until March 1, 2024 to submit their entries.

This award honors the most innovative, reliable and high-performing suppliers whose products, services or service offerings contribute to making DB more attractive in competition and improving its customer service.

Innovation proposals

Companies and institutions are invited to submit their innovative products or services by March 1, 2024. For example, they can submit ideas for new technologies, techniques, procedures, processes, products, services and marketing solutions. An internal jury of experts will evaluate the entries and will receive scientific support from the renowned Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI.

Evaluation criteria

Particularly important to the jury are:

• Degree of novelty and uniqueness: Is the approach fresh and unique?
• Added value and contribution to earnings: What added value does the product or service offer DB and its customers?
• Application potential and integrability: Can the innovation be integrated into DB's existing systems?
• Sustainability and environmental protection: Does the solution contribute to sustainability and environmental protection?

Application procedure

Participation in the DB Supplier Award and DB Supplier Innovation Award is free of charge for applicants. Applications must be submitted via the official DB application form by March 1, 2024. Suppliers can also submit videos, graphics, audio recordings or other materials to underscore the qualities of their entry.

Award ceremony

The DB Supplier Award and DB Supplier Innovation Award will be presented in a festive ceremony on September 24, 2024 in the evening at hub27 at InnoTrans.
