Information on the postponement of InnoTrans 2021

Due to the ongoing critical situation concerning the global coronavirus pandemic, we can no longer guarantee the necessary planning certainty which all participants – exhibitors, visitors and
organisers – require in respect of InnoTrans, which was already rescheduled from September 2020 to April 2021. After consulting with the leading market players and industry associations Messe Berlin has therefore decided to postpone InnoTrans again.

InnoTrans will take place on its next regular dates from

20 to 23 September 2022

We would like to express our deep regret for the circumstances and developments due to the coronavirus pandemic, and would like to thank everyone again for their loyalty to InnoTrans in these extraordinary times.

Please note the revised construction and dismantling periods (see below), deadlines for submitting documents (e.g. for stand construction approval) as well as deadlines for placing orders. We will list all these dates for you timely on our website.

We have put together additional information about the postponement and other procedures below.

Information for exhibitors

Construction begins:
14 September 2022 / 12.00 a.m.

Construction ends:
19 September 2022 / 03.00 p.m. (structural work)
19 September 2022 / 06.00 p.m. (decorative work)

InnoTrans:
20 – 23 September 2022

Dismantling begins:
23 September 2022 / 06.00 p.m.

Dismantling ends:
27 September 2022 / 06.00 p.m.

In principle, all stand arrangements confirmed by 22 October 2020 will remain valid. This does not apply to the location of rail vehicles on the outdoor display area (re Item 3).

All exhibitors will be notified in writing of the revised dates. After receiving notification all exhibitors will be able to cancel their participation in the event on the revised dates by 30 November 2020.

Following an exhibitor’s cancellation of participation by this deadline any down payments on participation fees (stand rental, AUMA, Media Package) will be refunded without cancellation charges / will not be invoiced.

All exhibitors will be notified of any changes to the hall allocations in autumn 2021. Re-allocation may take place to other hall areas. However, we will make efforts to minimise this.

Areas reserved on the rail track and outdoor display area are subject to different rules. It is possible that vehicle places will be re-allocated, which means that previously confirmed vehicle locations can no longer be guaranteed. Exhibitors will be notified accordingly in good time.

Down payment invoices already issued for InnoTrans 2021 will be cancelled by us. You will receive a new invoice by email for a revised period for InnoTrans 2022 at a later date. Down payments already made will be transferred to the new invoice.

Registrations made for co-exhibitors will remain valid for InnoTrans 2022.

Orders placed with the BECO Webshop will be cancelled, this refers also to exhibitor tickets and ticket vouchers.
The BECO Webshop for 2022 will be launched in January 2022.

Following an exhibitor’s cancellation of participation in InnoTrans, due to its postponement, within the time period specified, any orders placed with the InnoTrans BECO Webshop will be cancelled free of charge. This does not apply to bespoke orders, which will be assessed on an individual basis.

Catalogue entries, additional orders and upgrades for InnoTrans PLUS, the app and print catalogue automatically remain valid for the revised event dates. InnoTrans PLUS entries will continue to be displayed.

Expenses paid to third parties, e.g. for hotel/travel costs, visa fees, costs for stand construction, agencies, catering and staff cannot be refunded by Messe Berlin GmbH. Services booked with third parties are the subject of a contract between the parties who entered into the relevant agreement. Please contact the operator in question.

Information for trade visitors

Admission tickets ordered from the InnoTrans ticket shop will be cancelled. Payments made for tickets will be refunded. New tickets for InnoTrans 2022 can be ordered online from spring 2022.
