Third Mobility Cleaning Circle promotes dialogue between the mobility and cleaning industries
Public transport vehicles that are clean both in terms of emissions and hygiene standards are an important quality aspect. Cleanliness is a feelgood factor for every passenger and always belongs on board. While the leading international trade fair that is InnoTrans 2024 will be presenting transport technology and mobility innovations, at CMS Berlin from 19 to 22 September 2023 the focus will be on commercial cleaning technology and hygiene. Cleaning solutions for public transport vehicles are where both industries combine their expertise. “At the Mobility Cleaning Circle on 20 September 2023, CMS Berlin will offer representatives of the cleaning industry and transport sector an exclusive platform for exchanging views on the latest requirements, needs and solutions in order to achieve even higher levels of cleanliness and sustainability for cleaning public transport vehicles“, said Kerstin Schulz, director of InnoTrans.
Increased passenger numbers and new challenges
The ‘49 euro ticket’ and the holiday season have led to a large increase in passenger numbers. Trains, buses, trams, underground trains and stations have always been very busy spaces, which is one reason why cleaning requirements there are higher. Be it daily cleaning, cleaning on board, deep cleaning, special cleaning services for floors, seats, windows and grab rails – cleanliness and hygiene are important in a wide range of areas. That is where the Mobility Cleaning Circle (MCC) comes in, by bringing the cleaning industry together with mobility providers and enabling them to exchange new ideas.
Specialist forum, networking events and guided tour
On 20 September the MCC will focus on these latest challenges and present examples of best practices. At the joint platform of InnoTrans and CMS Berlin, representatives of both industries invited to this exclusive event can explore synergies and the possibility of joint ventures. The MCC 2023 will kick off at 10.30 a.m. with an expert discussion on ’Sustainability in cleaning public transport vehicles’. Taking part in the panel discussion will be Enrico Sosinski, chief customer officer, DR. SCHNELL GmbH & Co. KGaA; Tanja Reilly, senior strategic account executive, EcoVadis, and Tom Dreiner, managing director, transport maintenance and building cleaning services at WISAG Gebäudereinigung Holding GmbH & Co. KG. An invitation has also been extended to a transport industry expert. A guided tour of individual exhibitors at the fair will follow at 1 p.m. The Mobility Cleaning Circle targets a select audience. To register please visit www.cms-berlin.de/mcc.
Experience four days of live demonstrations between Halls 1.2 and 3.2
Before and after 20 September visitors to CMS Berlin will also be able to watch live demonstrations of various cleaning services on buses. These will take place on every day of the fair (19 – 22 September) between Halls 1.2 and 3.2.
